COVID-19 Update - TOA Safely Resuming Normal Operations

We are happy to announce that we have resumed normal operations. As our hospital maintains the appropriate levels of supplies, we have also resumed elective surgeries. As we continue to see more patients, we continue to follow the state and federal guidelines to help protect our patients and our team.

We are still offering telemedicine visits as well.

Please be prepared to wear a face mask to your visit. All patients will be screened prior to their visit. We are also taking extra precautions to disinfect our rooms in between patients. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

What to Do if Your Orthopaedic Surgery Is Postponed

As part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have postponed all elective, non-urgent surgeries for now. This is an important step to decrease the spread of the disease, decrease the risk of exposure to our patients, and to preserve resources for those providers and hospitals that are treating COVID-19 on the front lines.

However, we also realize that our patients still have pain and dysfunction while awaiting their operations.

Click here for an article from the AAOS regarding your options while you are awaiting your procedure.

Our doors remain open for any urgent issues, and we are also available by phone or telemedicine visit for any other issues or questions you may have. We are here to help, but we also appreciate the patience and understanding that everyone has had as we have to make fluid adjustments to the surgery schedule and treatment plans.

Stay Safe!
