Dr. Raynor Speaks at the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society Annual Meeting
Dr. Raynor returned to Nashville, TN to attend and speak at the annual Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society (VOS) meeting. Former residents and fellows gathered to discuss complex issues related to sports-related injuries this year. Dr. Raynor lectured on hip arthroscopy and the diagnosis and treatment of hip labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement (FAI).
Dr. Raynor Returns as Sports Medicine Faculty for the Texas Orthopaedic Association Annual Meeting in Ft. Worth
Dr. Raynor returned as faculty/speaker this year at the Texas Orthopaedic Association annual meeting in Ft. Worth. He joined Dr. Christian Balldin, Dr. Jeff Padalecki, and Dr. Henry Ellis as sports medicine faculty discussing the evaluation and treatment of difficult problems encountered in the knee, hip, and shoulder. Dr. Raynor specifically lectured on the evaluation and treatment of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and hip labral tears in the athlete using hip arthroscopy and discussed the applications and outcomes related to labral reconstruction.
Dr. Raynor Co-Chairs the 14th Annual DFW Sports Medicine Symposium
Dr. Tom Hackett of the renowned Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO was the keynote speaker at the 14th Annual DFW Sports Medicine Symposium this past weekend. The conference serves to educate athletic trainers and physical therapists from all over Texas and the surrounding states on many different issues related to caring for athletes. Its attendees were able to participate in hands-on lab sessions as well as learn from some of the city/country's leading experts in sports medicine.
